I have not posted much in the way of personal experiences with you on this blog.  I’ve made it a point to try to give you helpful tips, resources, ideas, samples, pictures, etc. related to wedding flowers and/or weddings.  This time I am going to talk about my personal experience in Las Vegas last week.

I was overwhelmed (in a good way) with the floral decor in all of the hotels.  They all had a common theme (FALL) and were actually very similar from hotel to hotel.  In the Palazzo Hotel as you entered the lobby, there was the biggest, grandest grapevine garland I have ever seen.  It must have been 5-8 feet wide and twisted all the way up to the ceiling, I don’t know, maybe 60-75 feet tall.  The faux oak leaves must have been 3 feet long by 2 feet wide.  At the base were large pumpkins and goards and potted mums in yellows, rusts and oranges.  Behind the registration desk were enormous urns (10 feet tall) with Fall garlands pouring out of them.  Fresh flower centerpieces were everywhere, again, huge containers, orange roses, orange Asiatic Lilies, gourds, pumpkins, decorative branches, bittersweet vines…..abundance was the common theme.

Ironically, ABUNDANCE was a common theme at the seminar I was at too.  How to have abundance in your life.  How to manifest abundance in your life.  To boil it down to it’s easiest form, the message was, always be giving…..more to all and less to none.  If you give you can’t help but receive.  It’s the law of the universe.
