Hi There, Saturday was very busy; I had four different events.  The first was a birthday party at a private residence in El Dorado Hills, Ca.  The home has an Italian Theme running throughout, and the home owner requested that the flowers carry the same theme.  She also requested the use of sunflowers.  So, here is what I came up with….sunflowers combined with fresh artichokes, assorted red/yellow/orange peppers, lemons and some greenery.

Many years ago I took a floral design class from Ron Morgan; an icon in the Bay Area.  He was the first to introduce me to the use of fruits and vegetables with flowers.  I was so inspired by him and continue to incorporate fruits and vegetables, whenever I can, into my arrangements.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
